Also part of the Star Trek exhibit of Paul Allan at the Henry Ford Museum is the Original Ktinga Filming Model.
I love the detail work on this one

I have one of these on the shelf, and looking forward to adding this same amount of detail.

I hope you are enjoying these picture of the filming models, I have a couple more to come.

Enjoy
Nick

Thanks Simi, same for me. I have one on the shelf also

I was like a kid in the candy store at that exhibit.
Especially when I found the TOS Klingon battle cruiser I’m currently working on there.
Previously, I only found one poor pic of that filming model on the internet. Now I have all I need.

Thanks Nick. That is a really cool looking model. I thought it would have a greener look.

Very nice shots.

The K't'inga from TMP was greener, and detailed differently. The model was repainted and greebled to make the Kronos One from the Undiscovered Country, which is one of my favorite designs BTW. There are aftermarket products out there, Resin Parts from JT graphics and etch from DLM/Paragrafix, to turn the 537 K't'inga kit into one.
