Re: [Round 2 YouTube Live Stream] 2020 Product Announcement - 1/31/20

Star Trek modelers have been clamoring for an accurate representation of the Galileo for years. Even without the interior, I think it will be a good seller.

Re: AMT 1/1400 Enterprise NCC 1701-E

Sorry for the long gap between updates. Serious lack of motivation over the past few months. The secondary hull halves have been glued together and the completed nacelles and pylons are now attached and wired thru and out of the secondary hull. The primary hull color (Tamiya Insignia White AS-20) ha...

Re: New Acquistions

Hello again everyone! Was fighting a bug between Christmas and New Year's (a big thank you to the in-laws for that ...), but on the bright side I got some sweet Christmas cash and dropped it on a couple Jedi kits. http://i.imgur.com/q7iXAwdl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Q27xEugl.jpg I also ordered some A...

Re: Space:1999 Eagle 1 1/72 Scale

Very nice work, TD1701! This kit is going to become rare with the release of the new tooled kit from R2. They are apparently going to 'retire' the molds for this kit. I built 2 of these way back in the 80's, but not to the level you are doing here. LHS has one in stock. Might pick it up just for nos...

Re: 1/48 B-24D Liberator

Hey Steve! Nice work so far. A couple of thoughts. Have you checked to see if there are metal landing gear available for this kit? Not sure if there are or not, but worth looking into maybe. Also, While prowling the model/hobby aisle at Hobby Lobby, I noticed different sizes and shapes of aluminum w...

Looks great Dan. The paint job looks fabulous. Shawn Thanks Shawn! I was really pleased with the overall look of the paint scheme and weathering. I have to credit Andy from Andy's Hobby Headquarters on You Tube. Most of the painting and weathering methods I learned from watching his videos. If you'...

Re: Tamiya 1/35 scale German Hanomag Sdkfz251/1

Looking good! Yeah I’m terrified of painting figures too! Got a bunch to work on for some MaK kits which is my current roadblock to completing some. Thanks Big Rat! Figures are my #1 worst abilities painting wise. I know some modelers who simply refuse to put them in the kits, even when they are 'n...

Re: 1/10 Parasaurolophus

Sheesh Iain! You have had a streak of real bad luck lately. Walk under a ladder, or break a couple of mirrors? At times over the last 15 years I've had up to 3 black cats in my house at one time, and not had a similar streak of bad luck. Hopefully your due for a run of good fortune for a while. You'...
